The XL castrating bands are designed for bulls from 250 to 750 lbs. and this castrator tool works just like the plier type banders. Simply open the band, put into place, and release the handle of the applicator. No threading, tightening, or crimping of any kind. These castrator bands can also be used for removing horns and docking tails. Once the band is in place, the scrotum should fall off in 20 to 40 days. Vaccinate with tetanus toxoid according to label directions.
