The PetSafe® Electronic SmartDoor™ Large offers a smarter way to give your pets freedom while maintaining control over who enters and exits your home.
Unlike traditional pet doors that remain open to any animal, SmartDoor™ technology recognizes your pet’s Smart Key® collar tag and automatically unlocks the door only for authorized pets. Once your pet passes through, the door securely re-locks.
With a sensing range of up to 15 feet, your pet can approach naturally while the system prepares access for them.
The insulated plexiglass flap and weather-resistant seal help improve energy efficiency by minimizing drafts and helping keep outdoor weather where it belongs.
The system can recognize up to five individual Smart Keys®, making it an excellent option for multi-pet households.
Three operating modes allow you to customize access at any time:
- Locked – No pet access
- Unlocked – Free access at all times
- Automatic – Smart Key® activated access only
