Description

Oxytocin Injectable for Horses & Livestock is a potent veterinary solution designed to assist with a variety of obstetrical and postpartum conditions in cattle, horses, and pigs. Formulated with 20 USP Units of oxytocin per mL, this sterile injectable solution helps stimulate smooth muscle contraction in the uterus and mammary glands.

Commonly used during labor and postpartum management, oxytocin may help precipitate labor, accelerate normal parturition, assist with postpartum uterine evacuation, and support uterine contraction following cesarean section procedures. It is also frequently used to help stimulate milk let-down in lactating cows and pigs.

This versatile injectable does not require refrigeration and may be administered intravenously (IV), intramuscularly (IM), or subcutaneously (SQ) under veterinary guidance.
