Used for many years as a landlord, works great as long as you saturate the carpet and realize it will smell worse before it smells better, while the enzymes eat the organic matter causing the odor.

I’ve used odormute for well over 25 years it has always worked great it eats the odors and in most cases one treatment will suffice, I will always use this product for pets it’s a great product.!!!

The trick to using this product is after soaking carpet with Odormute mixture, sprinkle the area GENEROUSLY with baking soda and then cover with damp WHITE towel or damp WHITE rag and let sit for 12-24 hours. You will literally see the yellow urine being absorbed into the wet towels. After 12-24 hours lift off towel (I throw towel away) vacuum area with shop vac, and carpet is clean and free of all urine smell. (If area is really soiled, repeat whole process, but using new wet towel and when it no longer brings up any yellow pee, your smell is completely gone. I will never again use any other product for urine stains and smells.
