Meet our team

Walt's father, Charles "Tye" Evans founded UPCO in 1952. Walt along with his family helped build UPCO's business. Walt has been with UPCO for over 40 years. Walt has a spoiled mini golden doodle named Kai. She hangs out with us at UPCO most mornings during the week. She's definitely the boss when she's here. Total Queen!

Kyle has been with UPCO for over 20 years. He doesn't know an unfamiliar face and enjoys being in the outdoors when not working in the store. His hobbies include bird hunting, fishing, golfing and spending time with his family. Kyle has three dogs, Millie the Labrador Retriever (the greatest dog of all time), Tye the Aussie Doodle (the biggest pain the rear dog of all time) and River the clumsy, funny dino... I mean Springer Spaniel.

Erin started with UPCO in 2006 and was promoted to Vice President in 2020. She is a jack of all trades and has a hand in most all of the operations at UPCO. Erin has 2 dogs and 2 cats. Layla the Rottweiler/Shepherd Mix, Titan the Pitbull, and Sheba and Amina both black kitty cats.

Scott has worked for UPCO for the past two years and previously worked at UPCO 16 years prior for over 12 years. He has always been devoted to animal care products and the farming industries. Scott ensures our processes and efforts maintain efficient to provide the best customer service and the lowest prices available.

Danny has been with UPCO for over 40 years. He is the first guy all the farmers ask for by name due to his experience and easy going candor. Danny's favorite vacation destination is Colorado which pairs perfect with his hunting and fishing hobbies. He has a playful cattle dog pup named Charlie and a beautiful rescued long haired cat named Tim.

Dave has been with UPCO for over 40 years. He is dependable, witty and works hard to provide great service to all of our customers. Dave's motto is "Keep on, Keeping on". He enjoys playing guitar and working out in his spare time. He has a grand-dog black lab named Bobbie.

Trish has been with UPCO for over 40 years. Trish may be small in stature but she is a money management machine. None compete with her work ethic and multitasking skills. Trish enjoys hiking, reading and playing with her grand children. She has a beautiful Alaskan Malamute named Chloe.

Cari joined the UPCO team in 2020. She handles our marketing and advertising needs from website listings and social media interaction to email campaigns, billboards, commercials, community events, building & signage beautifying and promotion implementation. Cari enjoys painting, volleyball, thrifting, traveling and hosting gatherings with her favorite people. She has three dogs, Millie, Tye & River who follow her around like a shadow.

Eric has been with UPCO for almost 25 years. He is our guru on all things bird and small animal. Eric enjoys swimming, shopping and spending time with family in his free time. Eric has rescued two Boxers and a English Bulldog.

Monica has been with UPCO for over 25 years. She has a bubbly spirit and is quick as a whip on the register. Monica enjoys fishing, shopping, growing plants and spending time with her family. She has two Boxers and a Boston Terrier.

Richard has been with UPCO for over 35 years. He prides himself on keeping the dock clear of items checked in and immediately putting products in their place. He is also our local delivery driver. Richard knows no stranger and is a joy to talk to. In his free time he enjoys hunting and spending time with his family.

Reuben has been with UPCO for more than 30 years. He handles all of our outgoing packages to both phone-in and website order customers. Reuben is a big Cardinals and Steelers fan. Meet Sissy the tiny but mighty Yorkshire Terrier.

Trystan started with UPCO in 2022. He is quick to greet everyone that comes inside the store. He enjoys video gaming and building Legos in his free time. Trystan has a sweet King Charles Cavalier named Carmine.
