Prescription Antibiotic for Dogs & Cats
Clavamox® Drops are a broad-spectrum veterinary antibiotic prescribed for the treatment of specific bacterial infections in dogs and cats.
Clavamox® contains amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium, a combination designed to provide activity against susceptible bacteria, including certain beta-lactamase-producing organisms.
This convenient liquid formulation is particularly useful when administering medication to dogs and cats that may be difficult to pill.
Indications for Dogs
Clavamox® Drops are indicated for the treatment of:
Skin & Soft Tissue Infections
Including certain:
- Wounds
- Abscesses
- Cellulitis
- Superficial/juvenile pyoderma
- Deep pyoderma
When caused by susceptible strains of:
- β-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus aureus
- Non-β-lactamase-producing Staphylococcus aureus
- Staphylococcus spp.
- Streptococcus spp.
- Escherichia coli
Periodontal Infections
Indicated for periodontal infections caused by susceptible strains of both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.

Indicated for urinary tract infections (cystitis) caused by susceptible strains of Escherichia coli.
