Description

Designed for use with Cap-Chur dart guns and remote delivery systems, the Aero Darts 3/4″ Needle offers reliable, one-time-use performance for administering medication, vaccines, or tranquilizers to livestock, wildlife, and other animals with minimal stress. Featuring grit-blasted, collared needles that stay secure in the syringe barrel longer than standard needles, these disposable aero darts deliver consistent and dependable results whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to Cap-Chur equipment.

Each dart is engineered for smooth loading and pressurized release — simply preload with medication using a hand syringe and, as the dart gun is fired, the syringe travels to your target and dispenses the contents on impact. The collared needle cap protects the syringe until delivery, ensuring the medication is released effectively upon contact. Available in multiple volume options (3 mL, 5 mL, 7 mL, and 10 mL) with a 3/4″ needle length to suit different dosing needs.

Key Features:

  • Grit-blasted, collared needle design for secure placement and consistent performance

  • Compatible with Cap-Chur aerodynamic syringe systems and dart guns

  • Available in multiple syringe capacities to match your application

  • Ideal for livestock vets, wildlife managers, ranchers, and animal health professionals

Efficient, easy to use, and engineered for dependable field performance — the Cap-Chur Aero Darts 3/4″ Needle ensures accurate medication delivery when precision matters most.

Disposable Aero Syringes: Lightweight, clear plastic one-time-use darts that do not require internal charges. They are pressurized by the air or gas from the projector itself as they are fired.

How to Use

How They Work

Loading: The dart is filled with liquid medication using a standard hand syringe and a long loading needle.

Propulsion: The dart is fired from a projector powered by either CO2 gas or .22 blank power loads.

Injection: On impact with the animal, the internal mechanism (either the charge or pre-set pressure) drives a plunger forward, injecting the fluid through a specialized needle in roughly two seconds.

Recovery: The needle typically features a collar or grit-blasted surface to stay in the animal briefly before eventually falling out for retrieval.

Usage Specifications

Capacity: Syringes typically hold between 1 cc and 20 cc of fluid.

Effective Range: Depending on the projector model and power setting, they are effective from 5 to 30 yards.

Needles: They use varying needle lengths and types (e.g., collared or grit-blasted) to ensure the full dose is delivered before the dart falls off.
